I am a native Californian, born and raised in Oakland, California, affectionately known as the “Bay Area”. Interior Design became my passion at a very young age, not understanding that this would be a career goal, I thought it was just a hobby. Until the HGTV Channel enraptured me, I started watching “Divine Design” by Candice Olsen. This Designer inspired me so much that I enrolled in Design School. I wanted to be her. I loved her design concepts and her eye for interior design. I loved her style and how she would put her wardrobe together for each episode AND wait for it…like me, she was 6 ft tall!
Well, DeCelle what does this all have to do with Design or Destiny? It has everything to do with it. It altered my career path and direction. It caused me to pursue my passion and destiny. First things first, my dream to move to New York City. was influenced by wanting to become a professional Interior Designer. New York School of Interior Design, here I come! Even though school was deferred, what I came to New York to do manifested. I lived in New York for eight years. Every experience I endured wasn’t good but it worked for my good and pushed me towards my destiny. I always wanted to decorate a Brownstone in Brooklyn, an Upper Eastside Apartment in Manhattan, home in Long Island, and condos in Queens. I can say that I was able to accomplish all of the above.
Once those things were accomplished, there was another move that needed to take place! In order to pursue destiny, you have to re-evaluate your geographical location.
Destiny Tip #1 – If things around you are dying and there’s no productivity in every area of your life then RESET, RE-EVALUATE, RELOCATE! Before you do any of these you have to change your mindset. While in New York, even though some great things happened, I had to weigh the pros and cons. Once I realized the cons overruled the pros. I made a DECISION!
Destiny Tip #2 – Stand by your decision. It leads to direction. Once I decided to leave New York mentally, things started to change. I began to crave something greater! Change for some of us tends to be scary, but it always reveals a part of you that hadn’t been revealed. MY pursuit of greater led me to Nashville Tennessee. When you’re destined to be in a place, the universe cooperates.The universe cooperates and conspires on your behalf
Destiny Tip #3 – Your new environment brings forth good things! Since my relocation, I’m fulfilling my career dream, driving what I chose and not settled for, and moving into a brand new condo still being built from the ground in one of the wealthiest areas in Tennessee.
What changes do you need to make today?
This only came from a decision NOT TO SETTLE and stay STUCK, but to pursue your dreams and design your destiny!

You know I know at least the latter part of your testimony very well!
