The time is here to celebrate the loved ones in your life. What better way to be ready with a soft kiss that says I love and adore you. Today we are talking a simple lip treatment because no one wants to kiss dry cracked lips. Its quick, easy and inexpensive with a powerful impact.
If you are anything like me, the winter leaves my lips extra dry, cracked and peeling. The more you lick them the worst they’ll get. Water intake is always an important factor but those lips need more! The same way you take care of your skin is the same treatment your pout needs. Wash, scrub and lots of moisture.
One of the first steps, when I come home, is to remove my makeup and I’m sure not to forget my lips. That’s right ladies, I wash my lip! You will be surprised by the amount of grime you remove. I use a scrub once a week and apply moisture every night as well. The scrub is an important part of the process so don’t skip it, and be sure to do a few times a week. Once you slough off the dead skin, Moisture Moisture Moisture! Did I say Moisture! Lol. Don’t fall for your lip gloss as your moisturizer and that’s all you need. My night-time moisturizing treatment is the best. After I brush my teeth before heading to bed I apply cocoa butter Vaseline. Yup, it’s that easy and it works wonders. I use Vaseline under my lotion for my body as well. I call it my miracle cream.
You have two weeks to get ready for the big lover’s day so get started now. In as little as two weeks your lips will be reconditioned. Be sure to continue care for your lip after February 14! You want your lipstick to lay like butter, and I know you want them to look smooth and luscious for your selfies. So, grab yourself a jar add a half cup of brown sugar and a cup of oil (coconut, almond, or olive oil). Store it next to your toothbrush so you don’t forget. Always remember to love the skin you’re in!
Thank you Zina for an excellent post. I throughly enjoyed your suggestions for the lips and I will
begin to put them into practice. Keep blessings us with articles such as this. PUCKER-UP
