One of today’s many in demand design elements reflect Modern Contemporary spaces that mix warm and cool tones together. The featured bedroom has the warm burnt orange accents that pop because of the muted blues and grays. Conveying soothing and energetic vibes that centers focus on accomplishing your to do list or relaxing, taking in the view from the balcony.

This Living space highlights a different design element, emphasizing the flooring by bringing the woodwork to accent the stairwell and loft area. This contemporary room draws you in and causes your eyes to dance around the space and zero in on the furniture, color palette, wall art and accessories. This inviting living space seems as though you’ve entered an Artistic Design Studio.

A Unisex Club Room above, reflects an element of design that says its eclectic. From the grass cloth walls to the modern contemporary furnishings, hardwood flooring, accent rugs, wall art and accessories. There seems to be a lot going on in the room that may compete with one another, to the contrary they complement one another. That is what eclectic design is, a mixture of design styles. Modern Contemporary, traditional and transitional. All defined in the furniture design. Contemporary are straight lines, traditional are rounded arms, and transitional can have curved aspects but straight line legs, vice versa.
I often find myself and my clients sourcing Pinterest and Instagram as these two social mediums showcase such a plethora of inspiration from color schemes to out of the box designing elements. As an Interior stylist, I personally love working with clients that use these two mediums to communicate to me their desired look. I can share my design thoughts and get their feedback in real time.
