Jamaican Jerk Chicken lasagna

Put an exotic twist on ordinary lasagna and have your taste buds literally watering! This tasty layers of noodles, Jerk Chicken, blended cheeses, and marinara sauce is sure to be a crowd pleaser!

Ingredients:

1.5 Pound Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
¼ Cup Grace Jerk Seasoning (or any brand of wet jerk seasoning)
2 tablespoons Olive oil
24 Ounces Marinara Sauce (any brand)
1 Pound Oven ready lasagna noodles
1 Cup Grated Cheddar Cheese
1 Cup Grated Mozzarella Cheese
½ cup Parmesan Cheese

Directions:

  1. Cut up boneless skinless chicken breasts into small ¼ inch cubes. In a large bowl mix chicken pieces with wet Jerk Seasoning. Heat Olive Oil and place meat mixture in a large shallow frying pan and cook for 10-15 until meat becomes white. Stir frequently. Drain off the excess liquid.
  2. In a separate clean bowl, mix the cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan cheeses and set aside.
  3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  4. In a deep baking dish, Layer the oven ready noodles with the cooked jerk chicken, marinara sauce, and the cheese mixture. Bake for about 45 minutes at 350 until top is crispy and lasagna is bubbling.
  5. Keep lasagna covered with foil while baking until the last ten minutes of cooking (this ensures the top won’t get burnt and the lasagna remains moist).
