The current makeup trend is all about being fiercely monochromatic and trust you want to get in on this.

What monochromatic means is you find that perfect color you are obsessed with and wear it in every aspect of your make up from your eye, lip, cheek and even wardrobe. So take me for example I love to wear hues of purple in my makeup. So I grab different shades of purple one light, medium and dark and go to work. This trend is perfect for you if you just can’t break up with your favorite shade. Monochromatic makeup has been around since the 50’s and it continues to show itself for the ease of being able to coordinate with various skin tones and fashion trends.

My Pro tip- Opt for a sheer eye and cheek and then knock their socks off with a saturated lip in the same shade. If eyes are your thing, nothing is better than a colorful Smokey eye, soft cheek and a barely there gloss in the same color family. Either way, have fun and finally its ok to be “Matchy Matchy”.
