Accepting the guidance to nurture healthy, loving, edifying friendships, partnerships, parenting, and self-love is mission critical. I recently attended a conference focused on spiritual development which covered building relationships, becoming whole as an individual and releasing what has held you down or back. 

Prior to this conference, I was crushing on a guy who managed to catch my attention but turned out to be a dud. As I adjusted my feelings, my guide advised me, “He’s not prepared.”  I thank God that I have access to His wisdom, but to be honest, I attended this conference in the headspace of I gave up on marriage, children and a family. I entertained setting up a “friendship”. I thought “What was I waiting for? It’s not going to happen, let me enjoy life!”

As I came closer to moving in this direction, guess who I hear? Grace! Gently proclaiming, “You deserve better. You deserve someone that will commit to you. You deserve someone that wants to share their life, secrets, fears, hopes, and dreams with you. You deserve someone that will respect and cherish you. You deserve someone that has your back. I have better for you, I have the BEST!”

It changed my thinking and perspective, it brought me back from visions of grandeur into the reality of struggling with feelings of emptiness and devalue that tagalong with “friendships”. It motivated me to embody the life-changing solutions. The conference taught me to pursue wholeness as a single woman by allowing grace to change detrimental patterns of thought, decisions, and behavior. You accomplish this by getting an understanding of how Grace incorporated makes a successful marriage, children, and relationships.

I adopted a new theme song Add to Me and read a quote that I think helps single women, as well as, married “Be the type of woman that makes an unprepared man ask God to prepare him.”
